Focus Groups

Today, we got into focus groups and recorded our discussions about our topic. In this case, we used the Old Spice commercials, and talked about how it affected whether you wanted to buy it or not.

Here we were finding people's opinions on the Old Spice commercial and it's links to the product itself. We found that this focus group enjoyed the commercial and found it successful, but it was hard to tell whether or not they'd actually buy the product, possibly because the lack of availability to smell the product. One even said they wouldn't buy it, and this may be the case for people who don't like spices as the name of the product has Spice included.
